Jamie Kuang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Opto-Electronics and a Master’s degree in Physical Electronics. Both qualifications obtained from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Hubei, China.
Jamie worked as a Patent Examiner in the Opto-Electronics Department of the China Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) from 2006 to 2009 and then practiced in a leading IP law firm in Beijing from 2009 to 2019 as a China patent attorney. She qualified as a China patent attorney in 2012.
Jamie works in the fields of optical electronics, ICT electronics & software, photonics, information technology, semiconductor, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, power and electronics system, computer science, wireless communication, construction, etc.
Jamie has extensive experiences not only for patent and deign prosecutions, but also for re-examination, invalidation and various searches including prior art search and FTO search. Jamie serves international law firms, technology companies, universities and research institutes.
